Performance Expectations:
The GD-G300 Titan’s designed boost rating is 36psi, operating efficiently from 16-36psi (at <40C turbo intake air temperature, >95kPa turbo intake air pressure), with 30psi typically available from 1800rpm when the tune and setup are complimentary. Accurate tuning is essential for reliability, efficiency, and performance.
The standard performance for the 1GD-FTV is around 380nm of wheel torque and 100-135rwkw (depending on the model). With the GD-G300 Titan combined with our custom remap, you can expect around 500-550+nm of wheel torque and 150rwkw to 160rwkw. Installations with a large intercooler, GTurbo High Flow Airbox, 3” exhaust, and upgraded injectors have yielded results as high as 180+rwkw and torque over 700+nm at the wheels.
Please note that the performance figures are based on using a turbo-back exhaust system. Performance will be slightly lower if the DPF is retained.
This unit can be used as a direct replacement for the factory unit with no modification to the tune/ECU and is designed to function optimally with or without the DPF.
Supporting Modifications:
Common supporting modifications include an upgraded Intercooler, exhaust upgrade, upgraded Airbox, induction plumbing, and GTurbo high-flow injectors.
