A pair of genuine Japanese exhaust manifold gaskets for the 24-valve 1HD-FT and 1HD-FTE. OE reference 17173-17020.
Why genuine on this one
The manifold face on a 4.2 lives at red heat and moves every time the engine warms up and cools down. Cheap gaskets go hard, crush unevenly and start ticking within months, and the only way to fix it is to pull the manifold off again. Genuine Japanese gaskets hold their crush and keep sealing, which is the entire point of doing the job once.
Do the studs while you are there
If the manifold is coming off, the factory studs are already tired. They seize, they snap, and they snap flush with the head. We sell a genuine Toyota stud and nut kit for these engines, grab one with your gaskets and do the job properly in one hit.
