1KD/2KD HP4 High Pressure Pump Conversion Kit - Toyota Hilux Vigo / Vigo Champ N70, Fortuner & Prado 120/150

The factory HP3 pump on the 1KD and 2KD runs out of fuel well before a big turbo and large injectors do. This conversion kit lets you fit the larger 3-plunger HP4 pump (as used on the 1VD V8) to your KD engine, with everything machined to bolt up. Choose the kit on its own if you already have a pump, or the kit with an HP4 pump for a complete setup.

What's in the kit

• Front gear case machined to mount the HP4 pump, with oil pump
• HP4 pump drive gear
• Modified oil cooler housing to clear the larger pump
• Denso HP4 high pressure pump (Kit + HP4 Pump option only)

Fitment

Suits Toyota Hilux Vigo and Vigo Champ (N70 Hilux, KUN26 / KUN16, 2004-2015), first generation Fortuner (KUN60 / KUN51, 2005-2015) and Landcruiser Prado KDJ120 / KDJ150 (2002-2015) with the 1KD-FTV 3.0L or 2KD-FTV 2.5L D-4D engine.

Install notes

• Engine timing components must be removed to fit the gear case
• A new pump-to-rail line and fuel feed/return fittings may be required
• A custom ECU tune is required to control rail pressure
• Workshop installation by an experienced diesel technician recommended
