Description
Complete Manta "turbo back" or "DPF back" exhaust system to suit the Toyota Landcruiser 79 Series GDJ79 Single & Dual Cab 2.8L 4cyl Turbo Diesel Ute (with DPF) - available in 3" fully mandrel bent aluminised or stainless steel tubing.
The turbo back system does require a recalibration of the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) to remove certain functions associated with the DPF system. This is intended for off-road or race use only.

Description
The 1GD-FTV 2.8L 4cyl turbo diesel in the GDJ79 Landcruiser is held back by a very restrictive factory exhaust. Fitting a Manta 3in mandrel bent system frees it up, bringing reduced turbo lag, improved peak power and torque, greater responsiveness and reduced fuel consumption.
Running full 3in piping right from the turbo face to the tail, it is available in a number of configurations, so you can keep the exhaust note close to the factory level or go a lot louder. For the best look and sound there is also a twin 3in tailpipe version.
Choose stainless steel for an exhaust that will last the life of the vehicle, or aluminised steel for the more budget conscious build.
Turbo back - please read
The turbo back system replaces the entire factory exhaust including the DPF. It requires a recalibration of the vehicle's Engine Control Unit to remove certain functions associated with the DPF system, and is intended for off-road or race use only. If you need to retain the factory DPF, choose the DPF back system instead.
