Genuine Aisin R151F 5-Speed Manual Gearbox - Toyota Hilux N70 KUN26R 3.0L 1KD-FTV 4x4 2005-2015

The R151F is the five-speed manual Aisin builds for the 4x4 N70 Hilux behind the 3.0L 1KD-FTV. This is a brand new genuine unit bought as a service part - not a rebuild, not an exchange, and not someone else's worn box with new seals in it.

The R151F earns its reputation the hard way. A tray-back Hilux that tows, carries weight, and spends its life being launched off the clutch will eventually find the limit of third gear or the input shaft bearing, and once a box starts whining or jumping out under load it rarely gets better. A new unit resets the whole thing: new gears, new bearings, new synchros, and none of the wear history you inherit with a second-hand box of unknown kilometres.

Before you order - This is the gearbox on its own. No transfer case, no clutch, no flywheel, no bellhousing hardware. If the old box is coming out because it failed, price a clutch at the same time. The gearbox has to come out either way, so the labour is already spent, and bolting a tired clutch to a new gearbox is a false economy.

Fitment

Toyota Hilux N70, 3.0L 1KD-FTV D4D turbo diesel, 2005-2015. Manual transmission, 4x4 only.

Specific fitment: KUN26R 4x4 models. The R151F is the four-wheel-drive gearbox and is not the same unit as the two-wheel-drive N70 box, so a KUN25 or a GGN petrol will not take it.
