Check the side before you order

This is the right-side kit only. The left side is a different part number and a different kit. If you are pulling both turbos — and on a 200 Series you usually are, because you have already done the hard part getting in there — order both sides. Doing one and finding out you need the other is a wasted weekend.

While the turbo is out

The 1VD packs carbon into the intake from the EGR, sometimes from as little as 15,000 km. If you have the engine bay apart this far, it is the right moment to pull the intake down and clean it — we stock the intake clean gasket kit for these.
