Manta 3in Exhaust - Isuzu D-Max 3.0L CRD 2017-2020 (with DPF)
Description
Manta 3in mandrel-bent exhaust systems for the Isuzu D-Max 3.0L CRD, January 2017 to 2020, fitted with a factory diesel particulate filter. Every system here is a 3in single and includes the clamps, gaskets and hangers needed for a bolt-on fit.
DPF cars only. If your D-Max is a June 2012 to January 2017 build without a DPF, the part numbers are different - use our D-Max 2012-2017 (no DPF) listing instead.
Step 1 - pick your system
- DPF Back - replaces everything behind the factory DPF. Keeps the DPF and cat, fully road legal, and by far the cheapest way into a Manta system. Comes muffled.
- Turbo Back with Cats - the full system from the turbo back, retaining a catalytic converter.
- Turbo Back without Cats - the full system with a cat delete pipe. Competition and off-road use only.
Step 2 - pick your material
- Aluminised Steel - Manta's standard mild steel system with an aluminised coating. Best value and what most D-Max utes get.
- Stainless Steel - maximum corrosion resistance. Worth the step up for coastal, beach, heavy mud and river crossing work.
Step 3 - pick your sound
- Quiet - full muffler. The most subdued option, closest to factory in-cabin noise. The only choice on DPF Back.
- Medium - hotdog resonator. A deeper note without droning on the highway.
- Loud - no muffler, straight through. The most aggressive tone.
What you gain
The factory exhaust on the 4JJ1 3.0L is a genuine restriction, and the DPF adds to it. A Manta system typically brings lower exhaust gas temperatures, quicker spool, less back pressure and sharper throttle response - and it sets the ute up properly for a GTurbo upgrade to use the extra flow.
Fitment
Isuzu D-Max 3.0L CRD, January 2017 to 2020. DPF-equipped models only. 3in single system throughout.
