NPC 225mm Carbotic Button Twin Plate Solid Center (will req. push pull converter*) - Nissan Skyline 1989-1998

Two friction discs instead of one, which roughly doubles the surface area inside the same bellhousing. Twin plates hold enormous torque while keeping each disc's workload low, so take-up stays manageable and the clutch lasts. This is where you end up when a single plate - of any material - has run out of capacity for the power the engine is making.
