PDI 3.91 Diff Ratio Crown Wheel and Pinion Set

Changing diff ratio is the fix for a vehicle that has grown since it left the factory. Bigger tyres, a bar, a tray, a canopy and a camper all push the effective gearing the wrong way, and the engine ends up working in the wrong part of its range. A 3.91 ratio brings it back.

Are they strong enough?

PDI gears have run in a HDJ79 that has put down a 10.98 second quarter mile. The owner broke two 4340 chrome moly axles launching it. The gears were fine.

What is included

Crown wheel and pinion set with solid pinion spacers. Bearings and seals are not included - see the PDI diff bearing and seal rebuild kit.

Fitment

Landcruiser 76, 78, 79, 100, 105 and 80 Series. Note that 80 Series and some narrow nose 79 Series will also need the PDI pinion flange plates.
