If you have lifted engine output and want the transmission to survive it, this is the part that does the work.
What it actually fixes
Most valve body upgrades raise internal pressure to stop the clutch packs slipping. The A442F has a specific problem on top of that: regulated line pressure drops when the transmission is in D. The Stage 2 PLUS is the only A442F valve body upgrade that addresses it.
If you did not know you needed such a thing, you are in good company - most people do not until the transmission tells them.

Fitment
Toyota A442F. Select 5 solenoid (HDJ100 and UZJ100 four speed auto) or 4 solenoid (mechanical throttle with line pressure cable).
